  • statutory program
  • specialized & focused program
  • capacity building program

uMephi is successful because...
  • It's strongly preventative as a result of early intervention
  • Social workers appointed at every project secure that everything is done to reunite children with families
  • Children's permanent placement is considered as soon as possible, & children are placed with "forever" families in the shortest possible time
  • The involvement of communities and assemblies ensures a great deal of sustainability
  • Donors & sponsors can see and experience the success of projects that they support

Currently UMEPHI takes care of...

  • 256 Abandoned babies and babies with special needs in 22 Halfway Homes every day.

  • 44 HIV-positive babies and toddlers  in 6 Professional Foster Homes.
